Kei and Yuri are on vacation and begin the episode fighting for the affection of a tanned casanova. Suddenly, an old guy rushes in, being chased by a group of men. Kei doesnt think twice about helping the elderly man in the brawl.
Turns out the man is looking for two 3WA agents, the Dirty pair. The grandpa is actually on a treasure hunt, looking for the riches of an ancient civilization known as La Kahanga from Planet Yukka. He carries with him a key he discovered years ago, with cryptic characters written on it; he believes this could lead him to the treasure. He was betrayed by a woman named Clementine, who was his assistant, as she now sends goons to steal the key and keep the treasure to herself.
The Angels now have to protect gramps and escort him to the prize. As they discuss their percentage, they are attacked by a chopper from outside. The Angels play one of their tricks and make the grandpa agree with giving them a rather large slice of the profits.
While traveling on their ship, the old man cooks a really nasty garlic dish, which messes with Nanmo´s scent sensor and makes them crash land.
The girls reach the ancient city but they are quickly ambushed by Clementine and her minions. The villainess traps them under rubble and leaves them for dead.
Meanwhile, Mughi and Nanmo try to find the Angels. The girls and the old guy run into Clementine and her gang but the thugs are vanished by a huge snake-like creature with multiple heads. Kei realizes the beast is just a hologram and deactivates it.
The trio falls through a trap door but they are rescued just in time by their non-human sidekicks.
Finally they reach the door that secures the treasure and after finding a trapped Clementine they use the key to open the vault. Suddenly some blocks rise and the three of them begin to push them down in order to open the gate.
However, disappointment takes over them when they find out there's no gold nor silver in the vault, there's only a bunch of rocks and a note that says that the real treasure is teamwork. Not exactly what our protagonists were looking for.
When the girls return home they discover that the old man tricked them, the note actually contained secrets to create super energy that was created by the ancient civilization. Still, the Angels are surprised by a ton of roses sent to them by their old friend.
The show´s staple narrative agility and inventive collection of twists shine quite well in this treasure hunt plot along with it´s distinctive humor. Enjoyable and creative, a swift watch.
